The Raja Sahab trailer is good, but not entirely good because it looks like the filmmakers have heavily relied on VFX, resulting in unrealistic scenes and over-the-top action sequences. It's also supposed to be a horror movie, but after watching this second trailer, I don't get the feeling that it's a horror film. However, it's just a trailer, not the proper movie. We'll understand the film better once it's released. This is probably the first time Prabhas has done a horror-comedy movie. Before this, he mostly focused on love stories, family dramas, and action films, and his acting remained pretty much the same in every movie, except for Bahubali and Salaar. This Raja Sahab trailer gives the impression that the movie is being promoted solely on the name of a big star. Some parts of it just don't make sense, like the scene where he lifts and throws the crocodile. It makes absolutely no sense that a single person could lift and throw such a heavy and large crocodile. But then again, it's a movie, and anything can happen in a movie.
However, the clown face of Prabhas that we see at the end of the trailer truly brings a unique vibe to it. It was completely unexpected. Many people might find it silly and funny that Prabhas suddenly becomes a clown, but that scene felt quite different and unique. It had a mix of pink and red colors, and Prabhas had a completely different expression. It felt like the biggest plus point of the entire movie might be this clown scene of Prabhas. How this scene is incorporated into the story will only be revealed when the movie is released. But watching this scene reminded me of Pennywise, the crazy clown from "It," who teaches children things in a very twisted way and wakes up every 27 years, hunts for a year without stopping, and then goes back into hibernation for another 27 years. I know many people will compare this look to Prabhas's Pennywise look, but Pennywise is a different entity, and there's a ghost inside Prabhas. Maybe this ghost is his grandfather's, or perhaps the joker scene is a funny scene where Prabhas, dressed as a joker, is scaring someone to get his way. But after watching this entire trailer, it feels like this will just be a normal, typical horror-comedy movie for Prabhas. Because the best work I saw from Prabhas after Bahubali was in Salaar. Seriously, that movie presented such raw action, showing how long and how well a person can control themselves and prevent their anger from reaching extreme levels.
It feels like Prabhas's comeback won't happen with this movie, but Sandeep Reddy Vanga will make his comeback on such a grand and dangerous level that it will truly be worth watching. Because after the release of this movie, Prabhas is going to completely dedicate himself to Spirit, focusing heavily on his overall physique and body. Because his current body condition won't fit the movie's requirements. The way fat has accumulated on his cheeks won't give him that heroic look. He'll have to achieve that proper Bahubali look again and show that same dedication. Only then will we get to see a new Prabhas in a new avatar, with a new look and new energy, which will be quite amazing. And Prabhas truly deserves this kind of comeback, and why shouldn't he? After all, he set a new trend for Pan-India movies with Rajamouli.
